Join us as we practice Counting in Hindi and Urdu with The Culture Tree!
- Follow along with Anu Sehgal from The Culture Tree as she shows us how to count to ten.
- Enjoy a sing-along with Ramya Shankar from “The Raga Monsters”. Ramya Shankar, an Indo-Jazz vocalist and music educator is the Artistic Director and Founder of “The Raga Monsters,” a school for early music education. Sing “Ten Little Fingers” with Ramya and see if you can hear her use the Hindi/Urdu words for the numbers.
- Listen to Pridhee Kapoor Gupta from T4Tales as she reads “Das Din”, a counting book written by Gupta. T4tales is all about reviving the magic of stories in Indian languages through interactive story books.
