Make Together

  1. Watch a reading of I’d Know You Anywhere by Nancy Tillman here or on CMOM’s YouTube Channel. This book is all about finding the special parts of ourselves that shine through even when we aren’t feeling quite like ourselves. After the story, sit together and make a list of all of the special things that make you who you are!
  2. Do you have a special dance you do? How about a unique face you make when you taste something delicious? Are your hugs just the best? Maybe you know a lot about something and love to share?
  3. Try turning some of those words and features into a poem or a song together. Remember, it doesn’t have to rhyme! When you are feeling sad, mad, or maybe not like your usual self, revisit your list for a reminder of what makes you so very special.
