Make Together

Travel the world from inside your home with Soul Science Lab. All you need is your imagination and a passport!

The innovative afro-futuristic Chen Lo and Asante’ Amin make up the music production company known as Soul Science Lab. At its core, Soul Science Lab has an empowering approach to self-expression. Their music is about legacy-building and inspiring the minds that will change the world, harnessing everything from soul to funk to hip-hop, educational themes, and interactive digital experiences.

  • Cut a few sheets of construction paper in half horizontally. Stack the cut paper and fold them in half vertically, creating a small booklet. Staple along the folded edge to keep the pages in place.
  • Using markers, colored pencils, or crayons decorate the cover of your booklet. On the first page you can draw a self-portrait and write all about you. Include your name, when you were born, where you are from – just like in a real passport!
  • Now it’s time to hit the friendly skies! If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Which famous cities, landmarks, or natural wonders do you want to visit? Using your imagination, you can go anywhere!
  • Create stamps for the different countries you want to visit. Design a stamp by sticking foam pieces of different sizes and shapes to the tops of bottle caps. What design best represents Egypt? What about China or Brazil?
  • Pour a small amount of paint or ink of different colors into bowls. Dip your stamps into the bowls and press them onto a page of your passport. Now you’re ready to go! Have a safe flight and enjoy your trip!
