A leader and innovator in children’s music and entertainment, recognized as “the queen of kids’ music” by People magazine and “the Adele of the preschool crowd” by The New York Times, Laurie Berkner is a singer, songwriter, lyricist, author, and founder of Two Tomatoes Records, LLC.

Let’s take a trip to the bottom of the ocean! To sing along with The Goldfish (Let’s Go Swimming) on CMOM’s YouTube Channel, Laurie Berkner is going to start by turning everyone into fish! Don’t worry. She’ll change you back when the song is done.

  1. Listen to the song and sing along with Laurie.
  2. Find a pillow or cushion and place it on the floor. This will be your fish rock. Anytime Laurie sings about the fish taking a nap on the rock, run over to it, lie down, and close your eyes.
  3. When Laurie sings about the fish waking up, jump up as fast as you can.
  4. Listen to what the fish do in the song and act it out. Don’t forget though – You’re a fish. So let’s go swimming!
  5. Add your own verse. What else can a fish do? Climb a mountain? Drive a car? Get a haircut? It’s up to you!
